A new and updated version of the Android market was launched recently. With promising all new UI and over dozen of updates it will be slowly rolling out to the users soon.
Yet for impatient users, one like me, who can not wait to try the new Android market on their devices Droid-Life have provided a fully working apk file of the new Android Market submitted by a user. The update is said to work on almost all the devices running on Android 1.6 or higher.
I myself tested it on a custom Android 2.2 ROM on my Samsung Galaxy S and it worked like charm with out any glitches.
Just download and install the APK file from the link provided below. If you are lucky enough you will be browsing the new market with in seconds.
Please note that its not tested on all the phones so install at your own risk. I however tip the Cyanogen users to make a back up of their data prior to install. However If you run into issues, go to Settings>Applications>Manage Applications and find “Market.” Tap on it and then “uninstall updates.”
