HTC Became The Biggest Seller Of Smartphones In The U.S.

The third quarter 2011, compared to Canalys HTC smartphone is now the leading supplier in the United States, taking into account the shipments. HTC shipped some 5.7 million units under its own brand and around 70,000 units according to T-Mobile brand. The second and third place in the United States was made by Samsung and Apple, with 4.9 million and 4.6 million units shipped, respectively.

Meanwhile, Samsung became the leading smartphone vendor in the world. By "world" we mean the APAC, Western Europe and Latin America, pushing Nokia, Apple and RIM to the position of second, third and fourth respectively. Samsung shipped 27.3 million units to these markets and now has a market share of 23%.

Apple's performance was not very exciting in this neighborhood, but you can expect the company to fight in the 4 th quarter of 2011, the results, thanks to huge sales of the iPhone 4S.
